He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Blum and Evelyn Blum (Wells); his brother Robert; and his sister-in-law Margaret Blum. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lemke; his son Charles Blum; his grandchildren, Aaron and Jessica Blum; and his brother-in-law Wayne Lemke (JoAn). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel (767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL 61072). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Hill Cemetery (200 Cemetery Road 52205).
