With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Bjorklund of Rockton, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on March 14, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Steffa Heimert and Nellie Heimert (Schoemaker); her brothers, Jack and Richard Heimert; and her brother-in-law Chuck Clauss.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Bjorklund of Rockton; her children, Michelle Zoller (Karl), Christina Budziszek (James), Thomas Hurst and Chip Bjorklund (Jeanette); and her siblings, Michael Heimert (Hellen), Patricia Brentner (Howard), Margaret Clauss, Sandra Lapete and Ann Orlandi (Paul). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in Barbara's name to the Arbor Day Foundation or to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Foundation.
