It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin E. Stone of Rockton, Illinois, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Stone and Bertha Stone (Altvater). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Dixon; and his children, Jeffrey Stone of Lake Barrington, IL, Gregory Stone (Tammy) of Rockton, IL and Susan DuPont (Jon) of Massillon, OH. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Alvin's name to Nygren Wetland Preserve.
