He was predeceased by: his fathers, Louis Gertrude Lamps (Schultz) and William Lamps, Sr.; his wife Nancy Jane Lamps (Hills); and his sisters, Janice and Julie.

He is survived by: his children, Michael, Dana, David, Marryne, Kaleb, Maeley, Andrew, Adellyn, Evette and Nora.
