He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon L. Harp Sr. and Florence Harp (Parker); his son Beau Harp; his sisters, Carol Forbeck, Verna Nord and Deirdre Hartz; and his father-in-law Daniel Hannan.
He is survived by: his wife Tammera Hannan; his children, Amy Harp, Bryan Harp (Katherine), Brock Harp (Jillian), Brett Harp (Elizabeth) and Brooke Harp; his grandchildren, Drew, Ellie, Sophie, Keegan, Declan, Isabella, Kaydence, Grady, Owen, Clara and Milo; his siblings, Muriel Morris (Mike), Linda Jessen, Kathy Piper and James Harp (Linda); and his mother-in-law Phyllis Hannan. He is also survived by his many siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (4401 Highcrest Rd, Rockford, IL 61107).
Memorials may be made to the family, who wish to spread donations among things important to Butch.
