It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas P. Murphy of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sterling Murphy and Rosemary Murphy (Hart); his sons, Patrick Murphy (Christina) and Chris Murphy (Laura); his grandchildren, Eryn McCabe (Jacob), Brenna, Alex, Christopher and Ava Murphy; his siblings, Sheryl Moberg and Jim Murphy; and his wife Margaret Murphy (Armato).
