He was predeceased by: his parents, Higinio Romero and Josephine Romero (Cleere); his wife Deanah Cleere; and his son Ian Cleere. He is survived by: his siblings, Peggy Sue Romero, Rita Hampton (Wayne), Alice Kilgore, Margie Warren (Jeff), Robert Romero (Lori), Benny Romero (Rosa) and Mike Romero; his nephew Titus Martinez; and his brother-in-law Antonio Juarez.
