She was predeceased by: her parents, Essex Woods and Velvet Woods; and her siblings, Denise Woods, Lee Woods, Leon Woods, Masifield and Bruce Woods.
She is survived by: her foster son Sanaign "Sonny" Tanner; her siblings, Dessie Elmore, Emma Thompson, Charles Woods (Alice Faye), Chester Woods (Martha), Larry Woods (Serrita), Terrence Woods (Dorinda) and Alvin Woods (Veronica); and her sister-in-law Maggie Woods. She is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends including special nephew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (724 Harrison Ave, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
