He is survived by: his sister Kathe (Heck) Suddendorf (Gary); his niece Jessi Jansen (Michael); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Madalyn and Dylan; his nephew Erich Suddendorf (Stephannie); his great-niece Juliette; and his great-nephew Xavier.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cathedral of St. Peter Church.
