He is survived by: his children, Stanford Wayne Dean Jr., Melissa Dean (Houston Doyle) and Dana Hart (Dontae); his grandchildren, Brooke Johnson (Al), Brianna Payne (Matt), Brodie Dean, Joshua Dean, Fayron Varcato, Jordan Dean (Alyssa), Tredell Dean, Tayzsha Dean, Aviahnna Dean, Azlin Hart, Ayahnna Hart and Aleaya Hart; his great grandchildren, Ayden Johnson, Abel Johnson, Mylah Keen, Harmony Payne, Bentley Dean, Arayas King, Nathaniel Sockwell, Ezra Morris, Mattie Moore, Jackson Beardon, Atreus Puckett, A'lani Hart, Makenah Hart, Melana White, Muhraya Hart, Majour Hart-Taylor, Antjuan Taylor Liam Toye, Aniyah King and Lucianna Doyle; his siblings, Ed Dean (Mary) and Frances Dean; his brother-in-law Fred Patrick; and his nephew Mark. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
