She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Axelson and Yvonne Axelson (Eskridge). She is survived by: her husband Ron; her son Brent Taylor (Amanda Kenly); and her siblings, Wendell Shumate (Sue), Earl Axelson (Gabriele), Dale Axelson (Tina), Darla Hamilton (Tom) and Lynn Nygren (Dave). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Delehanty Funeral Home (401 River Ln, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church - Rockford (925 5th Ave, Rockford, IL 61104). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Arlington Memorial Park (6202 Charles St, Rockford, IL 61108).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
