She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Benson and Dora Benson (Wendell); her husbands, Harold T. Hart and Jack; her son Stephen; and her brothers, Marvin and Leland.
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn DeVries (Lane) of Arcata, CA, Sue Peterson (Curt) of Loves Park, IL, Brian Hart (Katie) of Lake Placid, FL, Mark Pheanis (Terri) of Geneva and Mike Pheanis (Shawn) of Tampa, FL..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (329 Pine St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. James Calvary Cemetery (1369 County Line Rd, Lee, IL 60530).
