Rose Mary Highland Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2025, at the age of 91, Rose Mary Highland of Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Cascio and Domenica Cascio (Loria) of Roccamena, Sicily.; and her husband Thomas H. Highland. She is survived by: her children, Jane Volland of Barrington, IL, David Highland (Diane) of Monument, CO, Mary Lyons (Jeff), Julie Reesor (Robert) of Rockford, IL and Sheila Kitzman (Scott) of Roscoe, IL; her grandchildren, Emily Fransen (Kit), Zachary Volland, Michael Highland, Clare Guggenberger (Tyler), Sullivan Lyons, Sarah Lyons, Anne Reesor, Jane Reesor, Elena Kitzman and Jack Kitzman; and her great grandchildren, Isla and Kira. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established.
