He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Sr. Burks and Dorothy Burks; and his brother Allason Owens. He is survived by: his wife Rena Burks; his daughters, Tasha Rude, Anna Burks, Roslind Burks, Rochelle Burks and Rayana Burks; his grandchildren, Brittni Anderson, Xavier and Noah Livingston; his great grandchildren, Roman Hawkins and Bryson Lilly; his sisters, Kimberly "Hope" Wimbush, Ashley and Christina Burks; his godmother Ella Mae Walker; and his close friends, Darcel and Cynthia Caldwell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Soar Assembly (604 Salter Ave, Rockford, IL 61102). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
