He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Dahl and Myrtle Dahl (Moe); his wife Beatrice E. Olson; his son Dale R. Dahl; and his brother Carroll Dahl.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Dahl (Theresia) of Roscoe, IL, Diane Young (Ken) of Machesney Park, IL and Cheryl Carley (Timothy) of San Antonio, TX; his brother Richard Dahl (Carolyn); and his sister-in-law Darlene Dahl. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Delehanty Funeral Home (401 River Ln, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1011 Auburn St, Rockford, IL 61103).
