Robert N. Dwan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert N. Dwan of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Dwan and Katherine C. Dwan (Peterson); his sister Jo Marilyn; and his former wife Betty Harms. He is survived by: his wife Marge Dwan; his children, Lynn Harvey (Jamie), Kim Leonard (Chuck), Linda Jo GiConte (Mike), Jeff Stone (Karen), Sharon McGraw (Kevin) and Robin Jones (Dean); and his grandchildren, Heather, Alex Harvey, Chuck, Leigh, Christian Leonard, Michael GiConte, Anna Bournival, Jason Stone, Amy Manes and Lena Johnson. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Mulford (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (402 Church St, Belvidere, IL 61008).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dwan family to be established at a later date.
