He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne; his daughter Mollie Toppe (John Jennings); his granddaughter Iris of New Martinsville, WV; his son Sam Toppe (Lee Swartz) of Chicago; his sister Lorraine Henning (Chuck) of Eau Claire, WI; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Burns of Berkeley, CA and Jim Beattie of Rockford.
