Paul Frey Obituary

We bid farewell to Paul Frey of Rockford, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2025 at the age of 82. Paul touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Frey and Maria Frey; and his siblings, Lydia Frey, Lilly Frey and Oscar Frey.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Frey; his children, Christy Hirschuber (Danny), Cathy Wagner (Greg) and Bob Frey (Nikki); his grandchildren, Lucas Frey (Stephanie), Kurstin Frey-Adams (Zach), Cailey Flewellin (Alex), Kasee Flewellin and Lexi Tintlemann (Brandon); and his sisters, Herta Cassleman (Daryl), Rose Meyers (Bill) and Heidi Johnson (Orv). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (4401 Highcrest Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
