We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 67, Paul A. Freeman of Rockford, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew M. Freeman and Viola Hill. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Hill of Austin, Texas, Andrew Freeman (Adriane) of Rockford, Nathan Freeman of Rockford, Mark Freeman of Detroit, Dewayne Freeman (Antionette), Georgia Cotten (Dennis), Sylvia Dean (Robert) and Desaktra Harold of St. Louis; and his cousin Bernice Austin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Collins & Stone Funeral Home (128 S 5th St, Rockford, IL 61104). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
