He was predeceased by: his children, Cynthia Romero (Tony), Danilo Geronimo (Ilene), Ellenore Figlioli (Tom), John Geronimo (Cathy), Oscemar Geronimo and Nanette Hendler (Les); his grandchildren, William Geronimo (Ana), Michael Geronimo, Santino Romero (Deya), Lara Romero, Tristan Hendler, Ariel Hendler, Gianna Figlioli and Emma Mae Geronimo; his great grandchildren, Salvatore, Gracie, Abbi, Angelito, Camila and Rubi Angeli; his parents, Feliciano Geronimo and Mariquita Geronimo; and his parents-in-law, Abundio and Consolacion.
He is survived by: his wife Emma of Durand. He is also survived by his children's best friends referring to him as "Dad".
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverside (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (606 W Main St, Durand, IL 61024).
