Michael Erickson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Erickson of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Donald Richard; and his sister Beth Sisson. He is survived by: his mother Susan Mae Erickson (Swenson); his wife Denise R. Wittner; his children, Renee Miller (Eric) and Lee Erickson (Joy); his grandchildren, Joselyn Miller, Hunter Miller, Ewan Erickson, Hannah Erickson and Linnea Miller; and his siblings, Bruce Erickson (Lori), Deb Rinaldi and Ami Erickson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Verdi Club (782 N Madison St, Rockford, IL 61107).

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Salvation Army Toy Drive or bring a new unwrapped gift to be donated.
