She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Day and Roberta Day; her spouse Sharinon Thompson; and her siblings, Eddie Coleman, Earl Day, Brown Day, Katherine Thomas, Billie Ruth Henderson and Mattie Robinson.
She is survived by: her sons, Sharinon Thompson Jr. (Tisha), Willie Thomas Jr., Kevin Thomas (Tina), Stevie Thomas (Shalon) and Lonnie Thomas; and her siblings, Janie Mackey, Brenda Douglas (Paul), Christina Harris (Sam), Willie Day (Vickie), Donald Day (Donna), Otis Day (Leora) and Fred Day. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church (4726 Jasper St, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
