He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Camper; his daughters, Brenda Hinkle-Jones, Latasha Newsome and Monika Hill (Dennis); and his siblings, Carolyn Walker, Betty Moore, Delois Magee, Loretta Hamilton, Kinyetta Jones, Edward Earl Newsome, Thomas Newsome, Walter Newsome and Mikel Newsome. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
