She was predeceased by: her parents, Reed Byrd and Katherine Byrd; her husband Prince Hearns Jr.; and her siblings, Ramsey Porter, Alma Anderson and George Byrd.
She is survived by: her sons, Prince III (Brenda), Jason (Yolanda) and Brandon (Kari). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115).
