With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Pohl of Rockford, Illinois, born in Altoona, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sturz and Ethel Sturz (Stafford); and her brothers, Kenneth, Alton and Donald.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Pohl; her sons, Steve Pohl (Lisa) of Rockford and Jeff Pohl (Angie) of Surprise, AZ; her grandchildren, Michael Pohl (Jamie), Michelle Guilfoil (Chee Wai Cheong), Melissa Pohl (Cheryl Wroblewski), Logan and Addisyn Pohl; her great grandchildren, Alex, Gretchen, Audrey, Sebastian Pohl, Shawn Henry (Breanne Ward), Sara Schmidt (Derek), Erin Guilfoil (Brian Hosner), Tessa, Reed Schmidt, Braelynn and Uriah Henry; and her great great grandchild Olivia Hosner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
