With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Handlogten (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry John and Fannie; her sister Verda Vanderzyden (Hank); and her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Huisman. She is survived by: her husband Howard "Howie" R Handlogten; her children, Marie DeYoung (Doug), Glen Handlogten (Laurie), Laura Faherty (Steve) and John Handlogten; her grandchildren, Jonathan DeYoung (Andrea), Kristen Konkel (Joshua), Michael Handlogten, Jason Handlogten (Katie), Amy Handlogten, Brittini Elliott (Sam) and Kylee Dripps (Matt); her great grandchildren, Oliver, Theo, Althea, Jackson, Owen, Ellie, Anderson and Penny Lane; her sister Martha Lou DeVries (Marv); and her brother-in-law Howard Huisman.
