She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Smith and Doris Smith (Hill). She is survived by: her husband James; her daughters, Laura Goodin, Amy Eissens (Aaron) and Sarah Johnson (Mike); her grandchildren, Jacob Eissens, Emily Eissens, Madelyn, Olivia and Nicholas Krieg; and her close friends, Mary Lou Paske and Barb Granite.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to OSF HealthCare Foundation-College of Nursing.
