She is survived by: her children, Charles Hulstedt, Jr. (Grace), Sue Ellen Setter (Louis), James Hulstedt (Diana), Jeffrey Hulstedt (Karen) and Dianna Dickerman (Keith); her grandchildren, Karin Cabildo, Annie Egler (Brian), Christina Green (Mark), Sarah Enke (Ryan), Elizabeth Woodyatt (Aaron), Peter Hulstedt (Jodiann), Rebecca Burris (Forrest), Nathan Hulstedt (Annica), Jacqueline Capes (Ryan), Alan Hulstedt (Jennifer), David Hulstedt (Courtney), Justin Dickerman, Danielle Nichols (Daniel) and Haydon Dickerman; her great grandchildren, Mikayla, Kylie Cabildo, Quinn Egler, Maisie, Alice Green, Emily, Kyle Enke, Ava, Isla Woodyatt, Svea, Ethan, Maja, Asher Hulstedt, Gretta, Sadie, Audra Burris, Uriah, Rorie, Grady Hulstedt, Hazel, Ingrid, Liam, Finn Capes, Mylee, Kaylee, Brantley Hulstedt, River Hulstedt, Iyanna and Ivie Nichols; and her nieces and nephews, Sharon, Sandy, Donna, Dallas, Alan, Sally, Bruce, Mary, David, Judy, Edward, Joe, Carol, Karen, Cathy, Chris, Denise, Debra, Gary, Ginger, Gayle, Pam, Mike, Gordon, Jean, Philip and Jane.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Evangelical Covenant Church (316 Wood Rd, Rockford, IL 61107). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scandinavian Cemetery (1700 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marlyn's name to 1st Evangelical Covenant Church.
