It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Louise C. Rodriguez of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Forbes and Julia Forbes (Troska); and her husband Joe of Mary's Church. She is survived by: her children, Josie Rodriguez Becker, Andy Rodriguez (Tami), Lou Rodriguez (Sophie), Danny Rodriguez (Marina), John Rodriguez (Erin) and Tom Rodriguez (Robin Rush); her grandchildren, Zach, Zandra, Leah, Chelsea, Brittney, Dana, Trevor, Miranda, Jaxon and Addison; and her great grandchildren, Leilani, Skylah and Levi. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverside (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61103). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter (1243 N Church St, Rockford, IL 61103). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Willowbrook Cemetery (12962 Willowbrook Rd, Roscoe, IL 61073).
