Lorraine A. Raymond Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lorraine A. Raymond of Rockford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Pelletier and Alice Pelletier (Cyr); her husband Albert Raymond; her son Patrick Raymond; and her siblings, Jermaine, Noel, Abel, Georgette, Aurore, Bernice and Bert.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Raymond (Linda), Paul Raymond (Charlotte), Cheryl Raymond, James Raymond (Beth), Michelle O'Donnell (Mark), Jason Raymond (Jeni) and Brian Raymond (Jen); and her siblings, Rolande Pelletier, Thelma Thibodeau, Jeanne Pelletier, Joseph Pelletier, Blanche Pelletier and Marcie Potvin. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
