It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lonnie G. Hayes of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Hayes and Dorothy Hayes (Ritter). He is survived by: his wife Karen M. Danielson; his children, Jennifer Lookingland (Mark), Melody Bragg (Ray), Raymond West (Debbie) and Tim West (Ingrid); his grandchildren, Kyle, Kristen, Steven, Charlie, Misty, Rachael, Cody, Megan and Tim; and his siblings, Sandra Goehring (William), Gale Pagles (Harold), Glenn Hayes (Janice) and Danny Hayes (Brenda). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Fred C. Olson Chapel (1001 2nd Ave, Rockford, IL 61104). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the New Milford Cemetery (1878 New Milford School Rd, Rockford, IL 61109).
