She was predeceased by: her parents, James F. Sr. Barr and Edna Mae Barr; her grandchildren, Kenzia and Kenyada; and her siblings, Janet Barr, Brenda Arnold and James Barr Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Dismuke Sr.; her children, Kenneth Dismuke (Carlettia), Jovonta Dismuke, Stedman Dismuke, Christopher Hines, Jennifer Dismuke and Nicole Dismuke; and her siblings, Mary George Parker and T. C. Barr (Forrestine). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
