It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard John Vitale of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on November 17, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leno Vitale and Inez Vitale. He is survived by: his wife Karen Westphal; his son Kaare Jacobsen (Carrie); his grandchildren, Xander, Austin Taylor (Amanda) and Jake Taylor; his siblings, Robert Vitale and Marie Colletti; his nieces, Andrea, Maria, Rebecca and Roberta; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Carroll (John) and Ken Westphal (Debra).

Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St Anthony of Padua Church (1010 Ferguson St, Rockford, IL 61102). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nov Memorial.
