He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Hubbard; his parents, Aaron and Arrie; and his siblings, Glayds McKinney, Alice Penn, Bobbie Wilson-Williams, Letha McRae, Joann Francis, Mary Lou Box, Earnest McKinney and Clarence McKinney.
He is survived by: his daughter Lynn Allen; his brothers, Lawrence McKinney and Charles McKinney; and his niece Mary Box. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
