It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kimberly Montalbano of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Amedeo Giorgi and Marilyn "Jean" Giorgi; her uncles, Edolo "Zeke" Giorgi, Roland "Gabby" Giorgi and Arthur Orlandi; and her aunt Joyce Fatone (Giorgi).
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Lawson (Jeffrey); her sister Nancy Derksen (Ray); her granddaughter Hanna; her nieces, Tracy Hortatsos (Andrew) and Tina Badciong (Chris); her aunt Judy Orlandi; and her pets, Lucy and Samantha. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a Celebration of Life to be established at a later date.
