She was predeceased by: her parents, William D. Smyser and Mary E. Jones; her daughter Sandra L. Loftus; and her siblings, Robert Smyser, Joseph Smyser, Thomas Smyser and Debra Hardin.
She is survived by: her husband Donald E. Loftus; her brother William Smyser; and her nephews, Josh Smyser (Megan) and Corey Hardin (Jennifer).
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Mulford (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108).
