Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Alberts of Rockford, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 68, on January 5, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Borde and Arlene Borde; and her daughter Regina Marx. She is survived by: her husband Brad Alberts; her children, Kimberly Marx of Rockford, IL, Jimmy Marx (Dennika) of Greenville, AL and Cody Alberts of Rockford, IL; her grandchildren, Haley, Emma, Dominic, Addison, Donavin, Logan, Lulu, Hannah, Isley, Carlos, Jack and Eleanor; her great grandchildren, Lavayah, Oliver and Annalise; and her brothers, Sam Borde (Janki Deodat) and David Borde (Julie). She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (827 16th St, Rockford, IL 61104).
