He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Frederick and Jennie Frederick (Krizmanich); and his sons, Michael and Thomas Frederick. He is survived by: his wife Christine Frederick; his daughter Jeanean Johnson (Greg); his grandsons, Andrew Johnson (Ashlee), Michael Frederick (Kat) and Benjamin Frederick; his great grandchildren, Audrey Frederick, Elinor and Wade Johnson; his brother Jerry Frederick (Ceil); and his close friends, Virgil and Diane Davit. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Riverside (3910 N Rockton Ave, Rockford, IL 61109). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's name to the Cathedral of St. Peter or to a Parkinson's Foundation of choice.
