He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Capone and Katherine Capone (Becker); his wife Bev; and his brothers, Jim and Thomas Capone.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen Capone of Rockford, Christine Davis (Kent) of Rockford, Susan Seiter (Wayne) of McFarland, WI, Paula Capone-Blee (Paul) of Belvidere and Andy Capone (Sang) of Rockford; his grandchildren, Lauren (Bryson Mook), Dylan Shane Seiter (Claire Solowicz), Hannah Campbell, Aidan and Colton Capone; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Kian and Kai Mook; his close friend Sandy Mulligan; and his siblings, Gary Capone (Christine) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Genaro "Jeep" Capone (Kathy) of Farmington, MN and Karen Capone. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
