With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph A Capriola Sr. of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Sr. Capriola and Johanna Capriola; and his sister Anna Capriola. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Capriola Jr. (Marta), Nicholas Capriola (Kate), Aubrey Nicholson (Matt) and Ali Rusch (Max); his grandchildren, Rocco, Lucie, Evelyn and Nico; and his siblings, Mary Jo Nelson (Oliver), Theresa Wendler (Robert), Anthony Capriola Jr., Gina Basile (Peter) and Michael Capriola. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
