He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonnie Sr. Roby and Ella Mae Roby (Culp); his siblings, Willie J. Roby, Nathaniel Roby and Etha Roby; his nephews, Carl Waters and Dwyane Hall; and his godson Carlos Pearson.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Roby; his uncle Mack Culp; his aunt Mable Holmes; his nieces and nephews, Tacquin Cribbs Roby, Quanika Crisp, Deea Cribbs, George Johnson, Doninque Clark, Alexander Holmes, Jarvis Hilson and Blair Green; his sister Deardra Thomas; his godchildren, Janae Moon, Christopher Pearson and Robert Scott; and also Taylor Martin.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service South Street (400 South St, Waterloo, IA 50701). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Memories Cemetery.
