With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John V. Crescenzo of Rockford, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on April 14, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Crescenzo and Carmela Crescenzo (Calliea); his wife Susan Crescenzo; and his grandson Caleb Crescenzo. He is survived by: his children, Colleen Mains (Paul), Vince Crescenzo (Amy) and Chris Crescenzo (Darla); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Mains (Chantelle), Tyler Mains (Elizabeth), Alissa Nelson, Joseph Crescenzo, Kara Dyer (Casey) and Tiffany Crescenzo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Honquest Family Funeral Home-Loves Park Chapel (4311 N Mulford Rd, Loves Park, IL 61111). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice.
