It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan J. Theden (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Theden; and her daughter Tina. She is survived by: her children, Jack Theden (Sandra), Nancy Pirrello (Sam) and Tim Theden (Agnieszka); and her sister-in-law Audrey Johnson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethesda Covenant Church (2101 E State St, Rockford, IL 61104).
