He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Latin and Gladys Latin; and his brothers, Joe A. Latin and Dewayne Latin. He is survived by: his children, Josh Latin, Jeremy Latin and Jaime Cortinez (Joe); his grandchildren, David Latin, Lincoln and Linden Cortinez; his siblings, Joyce Dismuke and Bruce "Tony" Latin; his close friends, James Hopson and Elmo Dowd; and his sisters, Desatra Miller and Rev. Nina Pryor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews cousins other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Allen Chapel A. M. E. Church (3000 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
