Vitale of Rockford, Illinois, born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Beatrice Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Pratt (Ty) of Santa Fe, NM, Christine Bergsten (Derek) of Timnath, CO, Nick DeBruler (Nicole) of Rockford, Rebecca Erickson (Jeff) of Plainfield, IL and Roberta Esparza (Ryan) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Annabel, Alexandra, Sophie, Jackson, Harrison, Gabrielle, Leo, Georgia, Sam, Lilian, Ruby and Cruz; and her brothers, Phil Johnson (Julie) and Les Johnson (Mary Lou).
