He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Maryellen) of Zionsville, IN, Patrick (Carol) of Byron, IL and Jonathan (Mary Sue) of Elko, MN; his grandchildren, Tara Tang (Tim) of Carmel, IN, James Hodapp of Chicago, IL, Brian Hodapp (Maria) of Chicago, IL, David Hodapp (Nina) of Woodlands, TX, Paul Hodapp (Courtney) of Denver, CO, Anna Evans (Richard) of Naperville, IL, Elizabeth Hedden (Luke) of Sterling, VA, Peter Hodapp (Lyndsey), Martha Holloway (Chris) of Milwaukee, WI and Trevor Hodapp (Yana) of Colorado Springs, CO; his great grandchildren, Annie, Josh, Lia, Norah, Reina, Alisa, Jordan, Cameron, Marie, Esther, Finley, Amy, Griffin, Calvin, Weylyn, Wren and Julia; his brother William Hodapp; and his close friend Lillian Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory - Mulford (1860 S Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL 61108). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery - Winnebago/Rockford (8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to OSF Hospice or Northern Illinois Hospice.
