It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Henry Gray of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnestine Gray and James Kelly; and his grandparents, Elbert and Jearlean Gray. He is survived by: his son Quincy Sanders; his stepson Roderick Sanders (Jennifer); his granddaughters, Makayla and Maliyah Sanders; and his aunts and uncles, Celestine Baxter, Rose Sockwell, Joyce Boone, Sandra Geeter, Elbert and Curtis Gray. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. (200 N Johnston Ave, Rockford, IL 61101). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
