It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Anthony Rever of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rever and Ruth Rever (Whitlock); and his siblings, Pat, Phyllis, Trudy, George and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Plymale; his children, Bob Rever (Michelle) of Roscoe and Jamie Martinez; his sister Kathy Morken (Van); and his sister-in-law Shirley Rever. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church North (2940 Charleston Ct, Caledonia, IL 61011).
