With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irma A. Hocking of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andreas Leucht and Olga Leucht; her brother Christian; and her grandson Sam Leeson. She is survived by: her children, Ron Hocking (Rayna Bauer) and Diane Leeson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Dave Hocking (Mary), Jenna and Jack Leeson; her great grandchildren, Austin, Aidan and Ava Hocking; and her husband Bernie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cathedral of St. Peter (1243 N Church St, Rockford, IL 61103). A Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
