She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Yankus and Mary Yankus (Petroski); her husband Bert; and her brothers, Alex, Walter and Leonard.
She is survived by: her sons, Stuart, Franklyn (Helen), Theodore (Melissa) and Clifford (Nicole); her grandchildren, Nathaniel (Christina), Zachary (Paige), Kiersten, Lindsey Luckett (Clint) and Emily; and her great grandchild Leo Luckett. She is also survived by her nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3300 Rural St, Rockford, IL 61107). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Our Savior's Lutheran Church (3301 Corbridge Ln, Rockford, IL 61107). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Kishwaukee Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or Lutheran Social Services of Illinois.
